More Adventurous | EBEW: Pattern Mixing
When I say used to never mix patterns, I really mean never. Growing up, I was taught one solid and one print, but never two prints. And so I listened.
Of all the many things I've learned from blogging, pattern mixing has definitely been one of my favorites. The first time I tried pattern mixing was with the top actually. My safety top. But once I got over the fear of looking like a five-year old who dressed herself, it became fun. Really fun. And that's pretty much how it should be.
Excuse the hair, by the way. If anyone wanted to know, this is my hair in it's natural state, aka thick-straight-ish-wavy-ish-i-don't-really-know-what's-going-on-here.

Actually your hair looks very nice indeed. I hear ya. I was afraid of pattern mixing for that same reason too. But you are right, it is so fun! Glad all these rules are being thrown out the window! I love the floral polka dot mix here!
